Biography
AjaDynamic lead soloist for the Walking Backwards band, and featured vocalist for the fantastic R&B/Jazz combo GK sax. Aja started singing at the age of three, and Aja's soulful voice was nurtured and matured in the church choir. She also performed with "Joyful Noises," a local band around the Milwaukee and Chicago area. Aja has experience doing studio work, and writing original songs that were recorded on her demonstration CD. In addition, Aja has had the opportunity to work with saxaphonist Chris Pipkin of Christophers Project, Milwaukee rap artist "Baby Dru" as well as other local artist. Aja is also the featured artist with GK sax a vocal/instrumental Jazz,Soul,R&B combo.With a great passion for performing she sought opportunities outside of Wisconsin, Aja relocated to Florida where she performed at a number of Festivals, Nightclubs and on Fort Myers Beach.

At age twelve his first introduction to music was the clarinet. The switch to sax was a natural one when his clarinet teacher saw his frustration and was surprised with a sax. It was at that moment when his passion for music began. Upon finishing college, his first high profile playing job was working for the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines in Miami,Florida. Accompanied by his English rhythm section, formally of the Maynard Ferguson Orchestra, GK played all styles from Las Vegas shows to rock and straight-ahead jazz. "It was a great place to get my chops in shape playing with spectacular musicians". GK gained notoriety in the studio league doing horn tracks for numerous hit recordings while in Miami. He has performed with...Richard Yanni, Hal Frazier, Toby Stone, Jody Donovan, Danny Gale, Lou Rawls, Frank Sinatra Jr, and Gary Burton. Maintaining his studios ties, he continued to play throughout the Midwest in jazz and rock venues. When performing, his virtuosity and diversity keeps him dazzling crowds with his passion for the saxophone.
