Biography
The Twang Dragons are a 4-piece country band that was originally formed in 2005. The current configuration has been together since 2006. Our first gig as a 4-piece was Summerfest, and we were featured in the Journal Sentinel’s Summerfest review page. Since then, we’ve played Summerfest annually, as well as the Wisconsin State Fair, Bastille Days, Taste of Chicago, Pabst Theater, Shank Hall, Riverfest in Watertown and many many other festivals and venues. We also do a tour of England two weeks a year, usually in September.
The members are:
Lisa Hannon – Vocals
Mark Nauman – Bass/Vocals
Scott Defebaugh – Drums/Vocals
Tommy Dixon – Guitar/Vocals
We’ve recorded 3 CDs of original music and have received favorable reviews internationally. Including a raving review in Vintage Guitar Magazine.
However, we do a mix of originals and covers. The selection varies by gig. Some gigs are primarily cover material (done our own unique way), while other gigs are largely covers. Regardless, we’re known for our tremendously energetic performances.
