VO5 has been playing packed houses and festivals for the last 6 years. Some of our higher profile gigs include the Wisconsin Realtors Association conference (Stayin' Alive), the Wisconsin Film Festival (2006 & 2009),  many times at the Wisconsin Union Terrace (3000+ audience), the Overture Center (opening for Abbamania), Atwood Summer Festand a disco gala event at the Kohler Arts Center. We've also kept many wedding parties dancing until we are forced to stop.

V05 represents the hopes and aspirations of all Americans. We believe that dancing should be an essential part of everyone's revolution. We believe in peace and justice and the American way, especially if it involves platform heels and lots of glitter. Our repertoire includes everything from Sly and the Family Stone to the Love Boat theme.

WINNER, "Best Cover Band". Madison Area Music Awards 2009

Usually a 9 piece band, V05 includes former members of The Merkins Catherine Capellaro (vocals, trumpet) and Andrew Rohn (vocals, keyboard), authors of "Walmartopia," which had a four-month Off-Broadway engagement; John Feith (guitar), noted filmmaker, bird expert and software designer; Drew Szabo (bass), wind engineer and filmmaker; Kelly Maxwell (vocals), masseuse and actress; Gail Campbell, firefighter and drummer for The Getaway Drivers (drums); Jim Yockey (percussion, vocals), power broker and member of Bonobo Secret Handshake; Marcy Weiland (vocals), theater veteran; and Dr. Steve Tyska (trumpet, vocals), V05's resident physician, humorist and commentator.
For larger gigs we can bring a string section, more horns and the VO5 "Hot Oil" dancers.
