BiographyAutumn-Wedding and Special Occasions Harpist
Nothing completes a special event like harp music filling the air with sweet music. Whether it’s for background music or your main entertainment, it’s sure to impress and bring an air of classiness to the event. This particular harpist, Autumn, has been playing the harp for ten years here in Milwaukee. She has participated in National Federation of Music for each of those ten years, receiving two gold cups. Having taken lessons from two Julliard graduates, Jeanne Henderson and Gerri Elliot, she has been taught to play a wide variety of music. Her capabilities range from classical orchestral cadenzas to contemporary solo jazz arrangements. Autumn has been playing for weddings and other special occasions for five years all across the state and for a variety of events.
Harp music is relaxing and traditional classical music entertainment. Light and soft, it creates the perfect environment as background music for any formal affair (such as wedding receptions). Also, the classical and powerful aura of the harp is wonderful for listening to directly (such as for weddings and funeral services).
Like a piano, harps have the capability to play a wide variety of genres. Classical, spiritual, Broadway, jazz, and Celtic songs are only a few examples of the options available. Special requests are an option, but it is preferred that they be sent to Autumn 3 to 4 weeks before the event.
